Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
• Departure from your hotel
• Drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) and Berber villages
• Visit UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a famous film set
• Lunch, then continue to Ouarzazate (Taourirt Kasbah, Cinema Studios)
• Follow the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley
• Dinner and overnight in riad/hotel in Boumalne Dades

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
• Breakfast, then drive to Tinghir and the majestic Todra Gorges
• Continue via Erfoud, the date capital, with lunch en route
• Arrival in Merzouga, camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset
• Dinner, music around the campfire, and overnight in a private desert tent

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
• Early sunrise over the dunes, breakfast, and camel ride back
• Drive through the Ziz Valley and Midelt
• Cross the cedar forest of Azrou to see Barbary monkeys
• Stop in Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland of Morocco”

Day 4: Full Day in Fes

• Overnight in Fes

Day 5: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
• After breakfast, departure to Meknes, stop at Bab Mansour and Lahdim Square
• Continue to Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins (UNESCO site)
• Lunch, then drive through the Rif Mountains

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Tangier
