Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
• Departure from Marrakech in an air-conditioned vehicle
• Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m altitude)
• Stop at the UNESCO site of Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a famous filming location for movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia
• Continue to Ouarzazate, visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Museum or film studios
• Drive through the Rose Valley (Kelaat M’gouna) and the palm grove of Skoura
• Dinner and overnight in a hotel/riad in the Dades Valley

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
• Breakfast, then drive along the Road of the 1,000 Kasbahs
• Visit Tinghir and its palm grove
• Stop at the impressive Todra Gorges for a short hike
• Lunch in a local restaurant
• Continue via Rissani, an ancient caravan trading hub
• Arrival in Merzouga, meet your camel caravan
• Sunset camel ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi
• Settle into your desert camp (choice of camps: standard, comfort, medium, or luxury)
• Traditional dinner, campfire, and live local music under the stars

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
• Early wake-up to admire the sunrise over the dunes
• Return camel ride, then departure toward Fes
• Drive through the Ziz Valley, Errachidia, and Midelt
• Lunch stop in Midelt
• Continue via Azrou and its cedar forests (possible to see Barbary monkeys)
• Drive through Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland”
• Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon
