Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Early departure from Marrakech toward the High Atlas, gradually climbing to the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with spectacular panoramas. Stop at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop for many famous films. Continue to Ouarzazate, visit the film studios and Taourirt Kasbah, then drive along the Draa Valley and its immense palm groves to reach Zagora. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp on the Zagora plateau.

Day 2: Zagora – Tamgroute – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, head to Tamgroute to visit its ancient Quranic library and traditional pottery workshops. Continue to M’hamid, the last village before the desert, then cross different Saharan landscapes (reg, hamada, and oases) until you reach the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga. Sunset camel ride, festive dinner, and overnight in a nomadic Sahara camp, with Berber music around the fire.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Iriki Lake – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Aït Benhaddou
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart by 4x4 across the desert track to the dry Iriki Lake, then pass through Foum Zguid. Stop at Tazenakht, famous for its colorful Berber carpets, before continuing to Aït Benhaddou. Dinner and overnight in a kasbah or riad.

Day 4: Aït Benhaddou – Telouet – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, visit Telouet Kasbah, former palace of the Glaoui family. Continue through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Lunch en route before arriving back in Marrakech in the late afternoon. End of services.
